Vagamon has been voted as one of the best paragliding sites in Asia. Also since 2006 International Paragliding Festival has been organized at Wagaman. This program is jointly organized by Kochi-based Adventurous Sports and Sustainable Tourism Academy (ASSTA) and Kerala Tourism Department.
Thangal Paara is a place where rock formations with very different formations and beautiful views come together. The tomb of Afghan Sufi Sheikh Fariduddin, who lived and died here 800 years ago, is located here. It is said that this rock, which is situated at a height of three thousand five hundred feet above the sea level, was very small earlier and was formed like this over time. Many people including believers and tourists come and go here.

Standing at a height of 4000 feet above the sea level, this mountain is also known as the Nadunokki Mountain.
